 Advantages of HD-SDI:

The advantage of this technology allows you to use your standard coax cable on your old DVR system and upgrade to High Definition video surveillance system. Prior to this type of DVR system you would have to use IP cameras and run new CAT 5 cable in order to get HD video. In addition with IP cameras you need to configure the cameras, and router to see each other on the network. With HD-SDI you connect just like a standard analog camera.
